ACCORDION FACE

2 people, 2 words: F’ING PROLIFIC. Illustration power couple Biddy Maroney and Sonny Day are WEBUYYOURKIDS. If you’re in Australia, you will pretty likely have seen their work, particularly on festival promo material. They’ve done so much in a huge range of media / various clients. Heaps of bands especially.

WEBUYYOURKIDS are also represented by Jacky Winter.

Josh Holinaty hails from Edmonton, Canada – producing a lot of great pictures of muscleheads, meat, and people getting f’d up, among other things – all bendy-limbed.

Highlights for me are Joshes skating/snowboarding and “covered” illos.

On a side note, something I’m always fascinated by is creative couples (I guess as I’m also one of the lucky ones to have a talented better half). Joshes missus Genevieve DF Simms is also an uber talented illustrator – including some images in particular that fit right at home with the ACCORDION FACE aesthetic:
