Koyama Press Kickass Annie Logo Project

This collection of images it seems has spiraled into an epic *project* of sorts: artists’ takes on the Koyama Press “Kickass Annie” logo. I saw this first via Michael Deforge’s (previously blogged) version above and then on facebook via the Koyama Press fan page and wanted to blog about it. I wrote to Anne Koyama to find out what the deal was:
“I originally wanted a few versions to hang on my office wall, and then people started asking if they could do a version. A few were commissioned, some were gifts and some were for work owed me.
There are still half a dozen to come (that I know about!)
I may put them all into a little book or zine eventually when I can afford to do so.”
Anyway, I thought the resulting images were brilliant and wanted to share.
