CRAOMAN

12 Jul

Craoman is an (French?) artist I’ve been following for a few years, but don’t really know anything about. Info seems sparse across his few online presences, and all are in French… but he is one who never ceases to blow my mind. Would love to see his process, because I have no idea how he does these colour-separation style layered up illo’s with anthropomorphic punk mutant monster people having fist/gun/knife fights, melting, decomposing and exploding all over the shop. So good.

If you like what you see, do yourself a favour and make sure to trawl back through the archives of his blog because there’s so much awesome stuff hidden away – if only he had a portfolio / gallery site where it could be browsed more easily.

Hi there! We’re big fans of Craoman, and invited him to take part in a group interview a few months ago over at our blog: http://www.avoidthefuture.com/2010/04/interview-artists-of-tribute-to-popeye.html . We hope you enjoy it!

Hey Martin, cool interview (and great blog)! Cool to read something in English by Craoman, and the Popeye-on-drugs rationalisation story is brilliant!

    Cheers
